Revive - IARBC Men's Retreat

"As for Me & My House: Discipleship at Home"

We invite you to the Men's Retreat, our goal is for men to come together as churches to be challenged from God's Word and enjoy fellowship on the beautiful North Shore of Clear Lake.

Keynote Speaker:  Tim Capon

Tim currently serves as the State Rep. for the IARBC.  Tim & Sandy served for 28+ years in pastoral ministry in DesMoines and Carroll.  Tim grew up in a religious but unsaved home, he came to Christ in 1983 in his late 20's.  He responded to God's call to the gospel ministry, left his profession as a civil engineer, and attended Faith Baptist Bible College.

Tim & Sandy have been blessed with 45 years of marriage, three children & their spouses, and 11 grandchildren.  They enjoy camping, biking, kayaking, and turkey hunting!

You will be blessed  & encouraged as Tim shares from God's Word at the Men's Retreat!

Kraig Keck

All men struggle with anger - some more dramatically than others, and families often bear the brunt... God expects our relationships to be characterized by kindness, and He gives us the grace to change. Ephesians 4:31-32

Tim Little

Children don't need to read their Bibles; they need to want to read their Bibles.  In this workshop, we will provide biblical texts and practical tips that you can apply to develop a culture of love for the Bible in your home.

Dean Taylor

The prayer and hope of every Christian parent is that their children will grow up to know, love, and serve God.  There is no greater joy than having children who walk in truth, and no greater sorrow than when they don't.  This session acknowledges the grief of parents whose children do not follow Christ and ways to grow through this deep trial.
