The IRBC Staff is very excited to host this year’s NARBC Conference!
Much has happened at IRBC since we hosted in 2017. We have learned much as we built a gym/classrooms (TheROCK) during the pandemic. We have added new cabins and just added a brand new shop. We are ready to share what we have learned through our choices, both good and bad. We will try some new activities (Pickleball!) and bring back some fun things like Squinney Ball, Disc Golf, Floor Hockey, Zip Line, Falcon/Hawk Demonstration, Staff Candid Photo Shoot, and of course the Auction. There will be a fun program for our children and teens, they will love it - because "Camp Kids" are worth it!
We learn so much from Camp and Ministry people. The NARBC and the camaraderie we experience on every level make this a unique experience that makes this a favorite week of the year!
Sam Brock, our speaker for the conference, is the Executive Director at Ironwood, a Christian Camp in California. He is someone that our staff has greatly benefitted from. He, along with his staff, have developed some highly effective staff structure and training for their staff. They have developed it so that it can be shared with other camps. His general sessions in the morning will lead into a discussion time for your camp staff to process together what you’ve just heard.
In the evenings Sam will be encouraging you with a series from the scripture entitled “Worth It!”
